What would you really pay for a Next-Gen console

if i saved a dollar for everytime i seen a "how much would you pay" for a ps4 article i would have enough for a ps4 and my selection of 100 future games.

About £350-400 which is $550-$633 apparently + games/accessories if need be. Most I'd pay's £500 for everything, I don't see the PS4 launching anything close to £425.

I'd say $500 tops with $60 games over the consoles life. Only $400 though if the games cost over $60 new.

I would do $550/600 for high end models. Hopefully games stay at $60.

If the system is impressive enough price doesn't factor into it for me unless of course it's some silly six figure sum or something. If its something I could afford after saving up I'll always pick the more impressive system over the cheaper one. Provided all goes well you're looking at at least five years of good fun for this one big purchase, it makes no sense to consider a hundred dollar or so difference in price a major deal breaker when you consider just how many years worth of entertainment you're buying.

It's not about what I would pay, it's what are people in the U.S. and around the world willing and more importantly ABLE to pay for them.

The dollar (and other currencies) have been devalued by 2/3rd since the 360 launched. Thus this generation of console by it's very nature is cheap. It's going to cost as much or less than the PS3/xbox did. Meaning, it's much cheaper.

Too bad everyone else has less money than 2005, so in reality it's still expensive.

Funny how money works. It flows to derivatives and away from you. If the bets go bad, the gov't uses your money to pay the bets back. If they don't, your bank deposits will be seized as the entity goes bankrupt.

Yes it used to be illegal, but then we repealed Glass-Steagall, and won't reinstate it. Still waiting for real change? Yep.
