Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes:
"The PlayStation Vita has had a very unique life so far in the gaming industry and despite being released a year ago at this point, there are still many game types which have yet to appear on Sony’s latest handheld. However among the missing genres, the fishing genre is not one of them. Originally part of the Vita’s launch window in Japan under the name Let’s Try Bass Fishing: Fish On, Wired Productions has brought this unique game over to the West as Let’s Fish! Hooked On. Is this combination of moe anime characters and fishing mechanics designed by the developers of Sega Bass Fishing a keeper? Let’s find out."
VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "This is the sixth entry in a series of articles I’m writing that will look at all of the games available in a particular genre on the Vita. The articles will highlight all Vita-native games, as well as any backwards-compatible PSP and PS1 titles that can be downloaded in English (i.e. from the EU or NA stores), and will include some commentary on how well those games run on Vita and whether they fill any missing gaps in the library."
Wired Productions has announced that the first inaugural Wired Arcade Bundle will soon be available on the PlayStation Store.
The Wired Arcade Bundle contains the games Tiny Troopers Joint Ops for PS Vita, PS3, and PS4 as well as Let’s Fish! Hooked On for the PS Vita.
Asian markets set to reel-in their version of the anime-inspired fishing simulator.
Never been a big fan of Fishing game, i think i might pass on this one, in the end it will get boring fast.
