Its hard to believe that people still care about this and check up on it every Quarter. Just wait until this generation is over.
Just another 6 years then.
yet you were the first person here to comment
yet I did'nt even read the full story, I seen the title and automatically knew people would be in here in minutes to add to their ammo for their console war debates. stupid like all that matters is who wins at the end of the generation. @GribbleGrunger... rumours are already sugesting that the ps4 will be ready on store shelves for xmas 2013, will hardly be 6 years like you suggest
Why don't they just discontinue the wii u? It's floptacular.
I smell fear on you. Fear that the Wii U will one day succeed. Everyone knows that the sells will spike tremendously when the games that people want come out. You cannot deny this rationally.
What are the games that people want? Secondly, when said games come out, don't you think "people" already bought the Wii U for the games "people" want and "people" are disappointed? The sales we see now are the sales of the general market. Not every Wii owner would sacrifice their children for Zelda and Mario and are thus not likely to buy the Wii U. Nintendo hit the "dead zone" where the Wii U doesn't appeal to any group anymore. Casuals have the Wii, the Nintendo hardcore are a small group and the general gamer couldn't give two shits about Mario and Zelda when there are so many better games out that meets the eye
Same whit the vita
Please elaborate? I would love to hear your reasoning regarding that comment
Well, guess the same could've been said about the ps3 on the first few years of its life cycle.
Go Nintendo go Nintendo go go go
I don't know, "why don't they just discontinue the Vita? It's floptacular". But I guess since it's Sony, it will get better, huh?
advertise more in the us sony. (when ps4 comes out)
Back in 07-09 this place would be ravaging with annoying fanboys of all kinds...
yeah, it's nothing like that now...
You da man, Calvin.
I still see it, but its not as frequent as it was back then. *shrug*
japan is doing to xbox what usa its doing to ps3
MS is still ruling the US. Look out Wii, MS is coming for ya. Sony is a lot further behind in the US than MS is behind in Japan. MS lead over sony is close to 20mil in the US why their lead over MS in japan is like 7 or 8 mil. I think the question people should be asking is why do Americans like PS3 more than Japan does?
Europe sales and america sales equals, than japan move the balance for sony
more like 15 million 25,000,000 ps3's in USA 40,000,000 xbox 360's 360's in USA
Hmm, the Wii U has the largest increase. Will this become a trend?
"the Wii U has the largest increase." Which isn't a good thing. If it's +10 with 11,000 then just think about what it was before then.
Disappointed in you, I am.
Vita looking weak PS3 looking solid Xbox Crushing WiiU = LOL
All those numbers are horrible especially after seeing the Black Friday and Christmas numbers and even those numbers were down from previous years. I realize January and February are usually bad months for the gaming industry but damn. lol
This is just the U.S. though. People who are going to buy hardware already did, so I don't really think any of these numbers are bad. They're good for 360 and Ps3. I don't think Nintendo has rolled out its advertising yet. WiiU will be just fine, it's Sony I'm worried about. And it has to do with Sony's health as a whole, not just hardware sales. Nintendo's hardware sales are triple Sony's... just an observation.
These numbers are inaccurate....(just a friendly reminder)....
The problem with the numberz is not that they are inaccurate. It is that they are made up. Even worse than rational just made up numbers they contain wild speculation on important things... Like even though retailers are only selling 150k xboxes a month, we are supposed to believe from Microsoft numbers that retailers (in just america) are keeping a million of the things in stock, or about a 6 month supply this time of year... Retail inventory systems simply do not work like that. No one warehouses anything anymore...
Wow. So much ado about nothing. Vita sub 6000 though. . .not good.
I love Vita please don't die...Maybe Sony should lower the Vita prices 30$ each year or so..lower the cards too.
Low numbers all around.
