More Than 100 Million Skylanders Toys Have Been Sold

Activision's hybrid video game/toy Skylanders franchise continues to steamroll through retail. Activision announced at its Toyfair 2013 press conference this week that more than 100 million Skylanders toys have been sold since the series debuted in late 2011. With individual figurines ranging anywhere from $9.99 and up for the harder-to-find heroes it's no wonder that the Skylanders franchise has generated more than $500 million for Activision.
