So on top of this game having to be always online it has day 1 dlc that is only for the limited edition. EA really knows how to keep their title as worst company.

While I agree with the hate towards day 1 dlc. The online only thing doesn't bother me. The multi player side looks great and uses cloud so I can play even if my friend doesn't. Also it will help combat exe editors. So what's the downside.

The always online aspect is limiting to a subset of the audience (slow/unreliable internet connections, people travelling, etc), but I'm more disappointed by the always multiplayer aspect. I don't have any friends picking up SimCity, and I don't want to make friends online or play with strangers. If I want to play alone, I miss out on regional challenges and am limited to a smaller, more specialized city because I'm supposed to have neighbors with complementary specializations. That's what the previews seem to be indicating anyway, won't know until release but the more I read about this game the less optimistic I feel. Fingers crossed this isn't the case and I can get my SimCity fix.
