Why Microsoft is killing the second-hand game market

EDGE - We piece together the rationale behind Microsoft’s move to block second-hand games with the next Xbox. (Microsoft, Xbox One)

It's a money grab plain and simple, I will NOT support a company that restricts the consumer at this level.

Ballmer is frickin evil in that pic lol.

I hear what you're saying and all but the used game market is a seedy, scummy little world. The devs and unfortunately the publishers need to get paid for their hard work. Come on brah, if it was your hard work was being resold for almost at almost full price and you weren't getting a cut how would you feel. I'd be f**king pissed I know that.

That picture is freaking epic! D!ck move if they go through with it. However, one positive is that it will make my decision on which console to buy first/at all a whole lot simpler!
I'd even be happy with just a Wii U if SONY follows suit.

I just cant imagine this to be true. The backlash would be too great.

This is one rumor im pretty sure is completely false.
