Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Review | TheGamersPad

Ni No Kuni is a masterclass in game design.

It brings back elements of the JRPG genre that has been lacking lately, but makes it interesting and accessible to people who haven’t grown up playing the likes of Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest.

It’s clear and straight-forward enough to keep players from getting too lost, but provides plenty for the player who chooses to explore a different path.

The graphics are impressive and the visual style is stunning.

The soundtrack is bold and epic, while the voice-acting matches what you’d hear in an animated movie.

Ni No Kuni is a must play for everyone, not just fans of the genre. (Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, PS3) 10/10

The only thing I dislike about it is the scrolling text drawing my eyes away.

And that is the only negative I can think of and it isn't a big one. Ni No Kuni is a masterpiece.

Oh, actually, catching Dinoceros is a nightmare. I tried fot two hours last night to no avail.

I caught one within the first 30 minutes and took me less than an hour to evolve it to its final form. Guess I was lucky. It's tough but extremely rewarding.

Later in the game when you reach the last area you can catch one of the evolved forms of Dinoceros (red version) & personally it was easier to catch it than the original form. Also you get more chances to catch the thing cause it spawns quite frequently. Not sure if you wanna wait that long to get one...once you do get one the thing is a beast. Levels up really slow & has a max level of 28.

Finished the game yesterday & it was a touching end to a great game. Doing all the post game stuff now & fighting some tough doods thats for sure. Such a memorable game, old school at its best for the present times.

awesome game! It spirits me away to another world as soon as I boot it up and hear the great music!
