Dragon Quest X Wii U News Coming On February 18

The timing of the announcement is interesting since it’s two days before Sony Computer Entertainment will reveal the “future” of PlayStation. (Dragon Quest X, Wii U)

But will Enthrall Japan when they drop a new Pokemon.

When have they not won Japan?
Kamikaze135  +   683d ago
I wish they were localizing it. Hopefully they mention something about an overeas release.

Happening 2 days before the Sony event. Doesn't really matter because it's a Beta invite for only Japan.

They will like it I'm sure

Also can't wait for the next Xeno and SMT X Fire Emblem.

same here, man. Xenoblade Chronicles was SUCH an amazing game!!!

I think people in the west are really underestimating the force that Nintendo has managed to acquire with having both Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter exclusivity on their side.

We might begin to see something of a dichotomy in the games industry with more Japanese developers on Nintendo's side, and more western developers on Sony/Microsoft's side.

Someone disagreed. But this has actually already started happening.
Instigator  +   682d ago
I'm cool with that as long as those Japanese games continue to be localized.
stragomccloud  +   682d ago
I agree. One of the reasons I absolutely hate Nintendo of America is their aweful track record for localization.

It took waaaaaaaaay too much effort to get Xenoblade, Last Story, and Pandora's Tower.

I've already given up hope on Fatal Frame 4 and 2!

" I agree. One of the reasons I absolutely hate Nintendo of America is their aweful track record for localization."

I'm still bitter they never released Fatal Frame 4. That crappy Spirit Camera got localized, but a genuinely good survival horror didn't? So disappointing... :(

I was wondering about that subscription fee as well. Will this game have one? If so, I'm out
Qrphe  +   682d ago
I really hope it doesn't have one because I'd really like to play this.
metroidfusion2  +   682d ago
Does anyone know if this game will be native 1080p
Camcam  +   675d ago
Don't be stupid. Of course there will be a subscription fee and you will pay it like everyone else. It takes a lot of time, development and money to make a game like DQX and to keep the content fresh and updated. Oh noes you may have to spend $14 per month booooo.
