Activision Takes On North Korean Propaganda Video

Protecting intellectual property on the internet can easily be a full time job filled with battles fought in the grey areas of copyright laws; rarely does it involve volitile political situations. This weekend, after a the appearance of a propaganda video appeared on North Korea’s official Pyongyang YouTube channel, one publisher found themselves in an awkward position.

The story is too old to be commented.

You know its kinda scary when the real world veers into the gaming one. Especially when we are talking about something nuclear...

Temporary1270d ago

The scariest part is Iran and NKorea just signed a pact. WW3 is a brewin'.

Temporary1270d ago

lol @ the disagrees. Im sorry is the real world too scary for you? Stick your head back in the sand, ignorance is bliss.

BillySpandex1270d ago

Quick! Call in Colin Powell to deliver the "shocking evidence" that Iran and North Korea have signed a pact. LOL! Woooooo!

I'm still laughing at the fact that the US was duped into a war with Iraq on fabricated intelligence about Iraq's weapon's of mass destruction (lol!).

No wonder Colin Powell is such an angry guy these days, so much so that he even defied his own party and endorsed Obama. I'd also be angry if I was misled and made a fool of in front of the UN. I can't wait for the guy to write a tell-all book.

i dont know why, but whenever i hear the name Colin Powell, i suddenly think....... 'James Earl Jones' lmao
Colin..... i am your father!!

Contrary to popular belief neither North Korea, Iran are a major threat, especially North Korea.

Now I know what you've heard about North Korea and hoiw they spend their a large amount of their GDP on their military, but their GDP isn't that big, in fact to my knowledge Australia spends more on their military than North Korea.

Another thing North Korea is like the land before time, allot of the technology they wield is quite dated, if their was a war between the two countries South Korea would decimate North Korea, based on the fact that allot of their tech dates back to the 80's possibly the 60's.

Whether you consider them a threat to the US or not is irrelevant. Because if they decide to attack South Korea or Japan, the US will automatically be in the mix. They have ICB's that can reach the coast of the US, and they're reaching out to our enemies because they know shit's going down soon.

Whether or not you believe it or not is irrelevant. The War will start soon, and you should prepare yourself mentally for whats coming. :)

And no im not fear mongering, i have nothing to be scared of. I'm spiritually and mentally on a higher level than 90% of the population, and some of you might be as well. Dont pretend life is peachy and everything's A-OK. Dive into world affairs, check it out for yourselves.

The only thing scary is that they have Russia (Iran) and China (N. Korea) backing these nations up, why else would the U.S. be so hesitant on these nations only pushing for sanctions but never a direct attack. They know it'll spark a powerkeg if we got involved with either country.

It is a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt over so small a thing. Such a little thing. - Boromir

That is the line that comes to mind every time I hear about North Korea.

Wormwood1270d ago

So, the logical next step is for Activison to release a propaganda video denouncing North Korean using copious amounts of footage from Homefront....

WharenPeace1270d ago

I for one support our would-be North Korean masters, and any attempt to blacken the name of Activision gets a thumbs up from me. Thank you, Kim Jong Un, the west will learn that you are truly your father's son...
