Yep, apart from GTAV i haven't seen that many PS3/360 titles being given a fall 2013 launch date.

How... surprising...

This is news to me... so Tecmo is gonna rerelease the game which they pushed out for the PS3/360 with all the added content and sell it all over again? No patch for those who bought the game already? If that's the case, then that is really crappy of them.

I really thought Nintendo made the Wii U on par with PS3 to capitalize on multi-plats like these .... and its looking like it.

I think the Wii U has added more life to the PS3's longevity.

I understand its still early, But this is one exclusive lost by Nintendo.

It only raises the question. Are third party devs really dedicated to the Wii U?

And if they are how much dedication?

What does Nintendo have to do to keep third party games exclusive?

I really hope Nintendo didn't bite off more than it can chew.

Well, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is multiplatform. Its kind of funny to go back and watch Nintendo's E3 presser watching all these so called "exclusives."only to end going multiplat eventually.

I'd like this, specially with Sigma 2 coming soon (and me playing Sigma through Plus)
guitarded77  +   530d ago
I just started playing Sigma on the Vita... I hadn't played it before. Awesome game... perfect for Vita and mobile gaming.

Logic for losing one exclusive... "That must mean we're getting Bayonetta 2 and Rayman Legends as well! Why buy a Wii U when you can wait for them to go Multi-plat?!"
Skate-AK  +   530d ago
I don't think Rayman will go multiplatform but I do think Bayonetta 2 will.
cloud495  +   530d ago
I think Rayman is multiplatform but it's for next gen PlayStation and Xbox so they can't announce it. Bayonetta will stay exclusive since it's being published by Nintendo.

There's always a way around 3rd party publishing deals. Look at Mass Effect 1.

the Wii U is gana lose so much 3th party support when next gen ps4/xbox consoles come out.
(by support i mean same on all 3 platforms)
DivineAssault  +   530d ago
it will lose its ability to produce multiplats very soon... Indie games will be on it no doubt but the nx gen game engines wont run on it
DeadlyFire  +   530d ago
I disagree.

I expect next gen game engines could support the WiiU up to 720p maybe or slightly lesser resolution with decent graphics.

Kinda saw this coming.

Honestly, did anybody really think they were going to make it a Wii U exclusive? and miss out on all the potential sales the PS3 and 360 versions would garner having a 6 year plus install base? not blood likely.

woohoo thanks tecmo great bday gift for me. Now im gonna finish NG3 next

THAT'S MY BDAY TOO!!!! We may or may not be twins separated at birth...

you know , something in the back of my jhead kept telling me that this would happen, mostly because i see the trend with the vita games, and tecmo is very loyal to microsoft, but hey this is even better, now all we need is rayman legends, because lets be honest it can be done on ps3 and 360 so why is the sequel wii u exclusive, bayonetta 2 i fully understand, but rayman, C'MON SON!
no_more_heroes  +   530d ago
Its a good thing I held off of buying NG3 when it originally came out then.

I think I'll get it for my 360 since I still associate NG with xbox (after trying MGS4, I'm doing likewise with Ground Zeroes for my ps3 when that comes).

I f you buy this bs your a pawn and an idiot. I am boycotting them due to this avarice practice . The game is trash either way.
