Agreed. I feel the same way about this game and the new God of War - I should be excited about these games but I feel like they should have been put off until next gen.

look at the pre orders for both GOWA is the most pre order ps3 exclusive game in 2013 so far go to every site and you will see GOWA is a Day 1 buy for every one we got live ads and alot of things about GOWA and every one played the beta and loved it
on the other hand gears J have no hype what so ever no one talk about it didn't see it on any one list
so again it's not the same thing as gears not because you are not hyped for it mean every one is doing the same as you
Yeah, with Gears 3, I felt the need to go and buy the limited edition 360, but there's no hype or excitement for Judgement, Microsoft hasn't advertised at all.
Good they finish it now they can move and make the one for next year since now they make one every year ala cod i don't blame them microsoft must be like:this is one the few exclusives we have so lets make it every year lol
Only the new Overrun game mode has the set classes, the rest of the MP is quite similar. I'm pretty happy that they decided to ditch the old way you swapped weapons, Y makes so much more sense and is so much easier than messing with the terrible 360 D-pad.

Wait what...?! No Locust!!! If they don't have them in there, I would not call this game Gears of war! Locust and Helgust troops are my favorite enemies of all time.
There seems to be absolutely no build up to this game which is shocking for a gears title. Even Myself being a mad gears fan have little to no interest

Horde mode has always been a lot of fun and a very original experience. I been checking out horde 3.0 and it looks to be awesome. Best ever. The ability to build where you want and not the same spots like in previous hordes. Day 1 for me.
As a PS3 only gamer I would love to get into this series.. unfortunately financially its too difficult for me to support two consoles.. nonetheless I'm excited for Xbox gamers to get a quality game to play.

I've been playing the Gears of War franchise from day one, and, despite my reservations regarding many of People Can Fly's design choices, I'm a franchise fanboy, but regardless, this game will be incredible...
Personally Can't wait, oh hang on, looking up the comments I'm not allowed to say that am I, disagrees for looking forward to a game. N4G's at its very best.
Why look forward to a game that's had 3 prequels before it in one generation and is being released on a system that's been bottlenecked for about 2 years?

I'm mostly interested in the new additions to Horde mode and the multiplayer, which were the best part of Gears 3 imo.
