Chris Wynn, Senior Producer on Epic Games' team for Gears of War, has just announced the upcoming blockbuster Gears of War Judgment has gone gold.
i am looking forward to this game, coop should be fun, and I am interested in taking the new slant on gears multiplayer for a spin
honestly feels like no one gives a **** about this game. I'm a huge Gears fan and "I" feel like after Gears 3, meh. Doesn't even seem like Microsoft cares. The advertising campaign is not one of one for Gears of War.
Agreed. I feel the same way about this game and the new God of War - I should be excited about these games but I feel like they should have been put off until next gen.
@knight_crawler that's far from the same thing as god of war ascension look at the pre orders for both GOWA is the most pre order ps3 exclusive game in 2013 so far go to every site and you will see GOWA is a Day 1 buy for every one we got live ads and alot of things about GOWA and every one played the beta and loved it on the other hand gears J have no hype what so ever no one talk about it didn't see it on any one list so again it's not the same thing as gears not because you are not hyped for it mean every one is doing the same as you
Yeah, with Gears 3, I felt the need to go and buy the limited edition 360, but there's no hype or excitement for Judgement, Microsoft hasn't advertised at all.
Good they finish it now they can move and make the one for next year since now they make one every year ala cod i don't blame them microsoft must be like:this is one the few exclusives we have so lets make it every year lol
They need to quit dragging their feet and show the new Survival (Horde 3.0) stuffs. I've been waiting since E3 2012 when I heard about it.
this is going to be pure fun and mayhem
No rifle and shotgun start, no DBNO in mp and no locusts in mp.. the game has gone brown (to shite) not gold.
Only the new Overrun game mode has the set classes, the rest of the MP is quite similar. I'm pretty happy that they decided to ditch the old way you swapped weapons, Y makes so much more sense and is so much easier than messing with the terrible 360 D-pad. [email protected] Yes, only the Overrun mode is class based. Not sure why people haven't seen this said already.
So in the other game modes, will I be able to start with both the lancer and the shotgun? To me that was the deal breaker in all the controversy.
Wait what...?! No Locust!!! If they don't have them in there, I would not call this game Gears of war! Locust and Helgust troops are my favorite enemies of all time.
No Locusts in mp.
I wonder why Microsoft are ignoring this
They're taking cues from Sony.
But this is one of Microsoft's flagship titles. That's like saying Sony ignores Uncharted or God Of War. lol
I've never seen Sony ignore their flagship franchises =\
Saving their monies for next gen stuff probably. This game screams just a cash in spinoff title
It'll be interesting to see how much less this will sell. They clearly made some unpopular changes.
Really looking forward to this, have had mine pre-ordered for a while now. Congrats to Epic and MS.
There seems to be absolutely no build up to this game which is shocking for a gears title. Even Myself being a mad gears fan have little to no interest
Is it weird that I have never even heard of this?
Funny how all positive comments about the game are getting disagrees. I'm mostly interested in the new additions to Horde mode and the multiplayer, which were the best part of Gears 3 imo.
I must say while I do love the gears series, this new gears is not on my to buy list. I'm ready to see what the New Gears would look like & play like on the xbox 720. psn: cedaridge / xbl: cedar4Thunder
Same here. Gears 1 was decent, Gears 2 was an unplayable mess of a multi player, and Gears 3 was meh so I have no interest in Gears Judgement.
How would you know? You never played Gears nor owned a Xbox? I thought u hated paying for online? Since you constantly troll XBL paid subscriptions one would assume you've never played a single game online on the Xbox, since you hate the subscription so much? Stop lying to people. Its bad for the soul.
Gears 2 was unplayable for about 3 months and then had the online matchmaking fixed. Gears 3 is still the best looking 3rd person shooter on the market with more content out of the box then any other 3rd person shooter. Gears Judgement will be just as great. Gears can do no wrong.
@Lvl_up_gamer "Gears 3 is still the best looking 3rd person shooter on the market with more content out of the box then any other 3rd person shooter." *Gears 3 is still the best looking 3rd person shooter on the XBOX 360 with more content out of the box then any other 3rd person shooter.........ON THE XBOX 360. Fixed
Horde mode has always been a lot of fun and a very original experience. I been checking out horde 3.0 and it looks to be awesome. Best ever. The ability to build where you want and not the same spots like in previous hordes. Day 1 for me.
Isn't it a bit early?
As a PS3 only gamer I would love to get into this series.. unfortunately financially its too difficult for me to support two consoles.. nonetheless I'm excited for Xbox gamers to get a quality game to play. p.s. not all gamers that own just one console are fanboys. Happy gaming y'all!
People are actually buying this game? Gears of war 3 just came out not so long ago. It just feels like cash grab to me.
I've been playing the Gears of War franchise from day one, and, despite my reservations regarding many of People Can Fly's design choices, I'm a franchise fanboy, but regardless, this game will be incredible...
Personally Can't wait, oh hang on, looking up the comments I'm not allowed to say that am I, disagrees for looking forward to a game. N4G's at its very best.
Why look forward to a game that's had 3 prequels before it in one generation and is being released on a system that's been bottlenecked for about 2 years?
EPIC needs to move onto a new IP...gears has lost its magic.
