Full Xbox Live Marketplace Update: February 5th, 2013 – Halo 4 Now on Demand

After launching this past November, Halo 4 sold a tonne of copies at retail, and now, you can download the game directly to your Xbox 360 hard drive. (Dead Space 3, Halo 4, Xbox 360)

That is exactly what I'm looking at

And they said digital games would be cheaper. No disk to manufacturer, no box art, and no instructions. It just amazes me.

I see the little icon on the dashboard advertising it.

The tile advertising Black Ops 2 on demand is like 4x bigger than the Halo one...Doesn't make sense. Surely they would advertise their own franchise and what is Xbox's 'baby' alot more than Black Ops?

Yeah dude, I agree. It's pretty messed up to ask a consumer to pay more for less, even more messed up considering the digital content is coming from the company that owns Xbox Live. There's no justification for not having a discount. It even erases the dilemma of used game resales. So what's the excuse??? If they are trying to eliminate used games sales, why not give consumers a reason to support the argument?

i don’t understand why major titles like this are not available day one for on demand, specially when one you can just download it for the people who don’t really care whether its on disk or not and two this would save a lot gas for traveling to pick up the games. specially for a microsoft title anyway.

Earthworm HD, this is awesome, such a great series. I hope they bring this franchise back!

Why do they take so long to add a new game into Games On Demand? Some people like me want to instantly download a new game on launch day WTF??

I suspect Microsoft doesn't want to upset retailers...
