It’s great fun to step back into Isaac’s rig for all of the dismembering, tense edge-of-your-seat moments, and jumpy scares, as well as teaming up in co-op, without many things detracting from the overall fun factor of the game.
(Dead Space 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
9/10
Cripes. I've been calling this game "Dead's Pace," like it was the pace of death or something. This is the first I've seen it written out. I feel totally stupid.
On the contrary, co-op actually increased the score that I was going to give it! I was leaning more for an 8.5, but the last two days before writing the review were spent playing co-op and it was immensely fun, I could hardly put it down.
I've got a feeling that reviews of this game will not reflect the reactions from the fans. Just like the new RE or DMC. It seems to me that reviewers don't seem to represent the gamer any more. I'm not saying this game doesn't deserve a 9/10 because I can't base my opinion on the demo. What I can say though is that the demo was ... well, 'boring'.
I can't really say much about the demo since I never played it but Im loving the actual game, 9 hours in atm.
Im curious about the relevance of demos now.
Does a demo actually have a purpose anymore? It's like we can't base our opinion on a game from a demo without being told that unless you've bought and finished the full game your opinion holds no weight, people said not to judge RE6 and DmC from the demos and look how that turned out.
I think demos do give you a good taste of what to expect from a game, or at least what the devs are trying to showcase to you, what Im really asking is why do we bother even playing demos now if they hold so little meaning?

Haha, this gives me an idea for a humor article.
