VB - Skylanders: Swap Force is Activision’s next big bet on hybrid toy-games (preview)

VB - Activision Blizzard is unveiling a new Skylanders game today that shows how it continues to innovate with its extremely successful hybrid toy-video game franchise. The interchangeable body halves of Skylanders: Swap Force toys are the new gimmick that the company is using to get kids to buy even more Skylanders and push the franchise to a billion dollars in sales. (PS3, Skylanders: Swap Force, Wii U, Xbox 360)

well done to Activision to try something risky like this and advertise it so well, its not my type of game and may never be good as the original spyro/crash etc but kids love it and thats all that matters to them ! yesterday i went to the stores just to see one row of toys on the shelves and i was stunned, atleast 200+ and some 30 more sitting on trollies about to be shelved , its amazing
