MasonicGamer.com: I decided to actually go full on old school school with today’s Retro Corner by revisiting Michael Jackson Moonwalker for the arcades. Yes we’re all aware of the MegaDrive/Genesis version of the game but I wanted to go for the less obvious version, besides it’s also the much better game.
Michael Jackson Moonwalker is the type of game you just wouldn’t see these days, you need a celebrity who was truly the biggest thing on the planet combined with a company crazy enough to pull off a game based on Michael Jackson. This isn’t a music game featuring Michael Jackson, this is a game starring Michael Jackson much like how the movie was Michael Jackson being himself as opposed to playing a character.
It's been relatively easy to collect for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive because game prices have stayed quite low compared to other retro consoles. But the recent retro explosion is even affecting this market now. Here's a list of Genesis/MD games that you may want to grab before they get any more expensive.

Oh wow, I was totally unaware MJ had a moonwalking game. I really would have added LSD: Dream Emulator though. Hands down strangest game ever made.
