(PS3) Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Review - Patience With Reward l Entertainment Fuse

Imagine combining elements from Final Fantasy, Dark Cloud, and Pokemon into one grand RPG. Elements from all three of those mentioned titles create a brilliant, if occasionally marred marriage in Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. An epic, “old-school” rpg from the combined efforts of Level 5 and the famed Studio Ghibli. But no marriage is perfect, and thus Ni No Kuni does suffer from occasional problems associated with being an “old-school” experience. (Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, PS3) 7.5/10

What hate? 7.5/10 is a good score. I'd personally give it 8/10 (although, truthfully, i'm only about 8 hours in). My main annoyance is Mr. Drippy explaining things to me over and over again like I didn't understand the first time. It's flippin' annoying en' it mun! Music is good and the graphics are awesome. I hope level 5 do another Dark Cloud (or do an HD upgrade release on PSN).

Well for a game getting 9s and 10s, 7s seems like people dont liking the game suddently.

Yeah, i agree. Its a 9 if u dont like jrpgs and higher if u do. And i didnt think it started slow and i like the familar gathering because it lessens the grind aspect, which, by the way, rpg enthusiasts love. The problem is that younger generations are spoiled by todays rpgs.

But it's good from the very beginning. These reviewers must have not have played a lot of RPGs in the last 10 years.
