Metal Gear Rising Gets Exclusive VR Missions on PS3

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is, in essence, a best of both worlds. Combining the top-notch action expected from the over-the-top experts at PlatinumGames combined with the deep storytelling and rich narrative of Kojima Productions, it plays to all its strengths. It is a return to form for some, with such classic Metal Gear appearances like Codec calls, Metal Gear Ray, High Frequency Blades and the titular character, Raiden, but infused with new elements like new villains, new allies, and the much-anticipated Blade Mode (try it out now in the demo available on PSN).

Again with the platform exclusive DLC bullshit. 360 gamers pay just as much for their game as me so they should get the same content, or the game should be 2-3$ less on 360. Its the same the other way around.

I really Doubt it's about that....did it cross your mind that mabe MABE, I dose not fix in the 360's disk?! This could just be a small advantage the blueray has that people have just not seen...
I really think its just cuz of that, and I don't expect a game company to waste more money on it if it was the case.

It's probably not tha, simply because exclusive DLC content is *usually* a one time key which is used to download the content (trying to fight the used game market along the way).

Jesus, it's "maybe" not "mabe". And no I doubt that's why. It's likely because Sony paid them. Same thing happened to AC3, it has nothing to do with the blu ray being able to hold more.

PS3 was getting DLC late on most games or none at all, I think PS3 needs its fair share of exclusive content you know.

I think this whole platform exclusive DLC and of course TIMED DLC are NOT cool. Both need to die right away. Publishers are getting away with so much crap this generation! NOT COOL AT ALL.

As a former Live Gold member I'd argue that 360 gamers pay more, If you buy 6 games a year add 10 bucks to the price of each game in Live Costs.

If you buy 12 add $5 per games, etc.

Smartest gaming related thing I did all gen was not renewing my Live subscription last December, although, I haven't really used my 360 since...it seems boring now, almost depressing.

I know it sucks, but it's not going anywhere anytime soon. It's really there to make games seem more supportive of one console over the other, and Metal Gear is more PlayStation than Xbox so it makes sense.

Same with Battlefield vs Call of Duty.

i like how people complain, its not like the 360 didnt get exclusive DLC,
tomb raider underworld dlc that necer came to ps3
tomb raider gets dlc first on 360
resident evil 6 gets dlc first on 360
almost every activision game gets timed or permanent exclusive dlc on 360
i hate this practice as welll but i just find it ironic at how 360 gamers complain when it used to happen to the ps3,and 360 got all of the cool extras, whats the differnce.

I just want to note that VR Missions are ALREADY IN THE GAME, the DLC is just for an extra 30 VR missions. The game already has it's own set of VR Missions.

Maybe it has more to do with Bluray and not DLC! Just think for a second. Why does ever ps3 exclusive use over 20gigs but 3rd party games only fill up dvd9. Are developers cuttin content just to fit 1 dvd9.
