Hands-on Preview: The Last of Us | Today

Today: "The Last of Us has been one of the most highly anticipated games of the year since it was first unveiled at last year’s E3 in June.

A brief playable mission was finally unveiled on Friday (we were not allowed to share any information until now), and I was among the first in the world to play the demo at the recently-concluded Taipei Game Show." (PS3, The Last Of Us)

Looks like an decent game if your into that slow paced type of gameplay.

It looks way better than a decent game. It's looks very good.

Well I haven't played it yet, so I can't make that type of a judgement. A demos coming with Ascension, so I'll give it a try. It looks like its worth at least that much.

@logic Adam sesler said it was fast for a genre that usually needs slow pacing to build tension and their is 2 minute video showing of the infected.

^^Thats good to hear :)

@zebramocha

that because they are making the infected very very hard and scary
you have to move all the time ..or you are dead with one bite
and the crafting menu don't stop the game
so you have to pick the right time to use it

Almost all your comments goes against your name and opinions, your ways of trolling seems to be as stealthy as a ninja hiding in the shadows lol.

Ummm...sure. Whatever you say.

It's a survival horror genre game. You're not supposed to approach every level guns blazing and destroy the enemy. Ammo is scarce, and there is no regenerating health. You either choose to sneak around your enemy, silently take them out one by one or be an idiot and rush them so they can team up on you. BTW how do you have so many bubbles?

@Logic Well isn't the Survival Horror genre usually slow paced??
LOGICWINS  +   589d ago
Generally speaking yes. If your into that type of thing, this looks like it's worth a try.
JoGam  +   589d ago
This looks like GOTY potential. If your into that type of thing.

Yeah, for a person who likes survival horror..sure. Out of all the survival horror games coming in 2013, this ones gotten the most praise/exposure. So I'm sure at the very least it'll be worth trying out to see what all the fuss is about.

I don't like survival Horror but I will play this game because it looks different and all I've seen looks awesomel.

It looks like a great game with all around appeal from survival horror to Action. I see it blurring those two lines well.

Graphics are insanely good and im surprised that 7 year old tech is still pushing the benchmarks on consoles. Thanks to the likes of ND, SM and GG.
