For a game that isn't out yet, Crysis 3 is sure having it's fair share of problems with hacking. Vlogger NickBunyun has done up a short video detailing some of the issues, as well as Crytek's response to them.
Not a good sign if the aimbots from Crysis2 are already working on the new version. Need to get it under control
do people actually think crytek would just put anti hack protections so hackers can destroy it i the beta? after the Beta is done the new system will be in place.
I understand that part... but the fact is that as mentioned in other videos that hacks from Crysis2 were easily applied to C3... and C2 had lots of hacking issues in Beta that weren't handled in release. I'm not saying that C3 is screwed now, it just sounds more like someone not learning from their mistakes if hacks from the previous game aren't even fixed.
lol, If you look closely when the guy slows down the video in one part you can see Pandamobile's name in there. Hmmm I sure hope you were playing legit Panda...
Aimbots... wrecking matches since Unreal Tournament.
Hackers are so lame and they suck at gaming. I am sure they will rage when cloud gaming comes.
Multiplayer intrigues me with this one...but I'll buy it mostly for the single player campaign.
Its nothing more then a same old same old mediocre shooter, marketed to be something new anyway.
Thought the main draw was its graphics and physics engine? And with this I understand why EA's threatening to ban people who fail to report bugs in the beta from their servers since they're likely hacking, but I still don't like the idea that its EA judgment alone.
It's main draw certainly isn't graphics for the consoles, at least based on what I am playing in the beta. I know it's a beta, but damn it's an ugly game. Low quality textures, jaggies everywhere, blur... hurts the eyes. I hope it's an early build
You would surmise initially. I wasn't that interested in it but I thought I would try the beta out anyways. IT IS SOO MUCH FUN. I mean, the modes are not really ground breakingly new such as Hunter (my favorite mode) which is the same as Halo's infection or ninja gametypes that they had. But the way that Hunter seems to play out on Crysis 3 is different from games I have played that are similar. It's really immersive and I have a lot of fun playing it. Also for some reason I am quite good at it even though I've only played a couple games. I don't know, you've got these super powers in Crysis so it's a fresh take on a shooter, and yet, you are so vulnerable and Crysis 2 was always a game that made me nervous and planning out my moves beforehand because you could easily still be overpowered. It's not like a CoD charge kill rinse repeat cycle. Therefore, for me, Crysis is a win in it's category as a unique shooter in my books. Doing it's own thing in a way, not just the same old same old.
I just had the most uncomfortable Crysis 2 flashback right now
That why I don't even bother with these types of games now. If it doesn't have an offline bot mode, I am not interested.
No suprises there then.
Hackers and this game sucks
This is why it's a beta version.
i think people that hack should be banned on all ISP!! and blacklisted on the house then lets see them hacking then!
I never thought about it rightaways but maybe it is a good thing! The Beta has allowed the Crysis devs to see some things they may have missed and attempt to iron those out before release or as a day1/week1 update to the game or somethin
Damn hackers, they ruin for for the actual gamers. Thankfully, i havent faced any yet :D Been enjoying hunter mode alot.
Wow! That's sad that hackers have to ruin a great experiance for everyone else. I thought about buying a high end PC, but I'm not so sure anymore. Does this kind of thing happen a lot on the PC or is it a rare thing to join a match with a hacker? Also for all you hackers out there what's so fun about cheating? That takes all the fun out of a game.
it is pretty rare, most games are fine, I have only seen a few hackers and they were on games that use punkbuster but the server admins can ban people so they don't get very far.
Thanks for your input. I guess it's time to get into PC gaming. Also it's funny how people gave us thumbs down. There was no reason for doing it. A bunch of trolls. Instead of giving us thumbs down they need to comment to us, that's if they're adault enough to do so.
PC gaming is sooooooo fun ...
maximum skipping this
What did u expect when playing it on PC besides the shiny graphics? Hackers galore!!!
Hackers are the bane of legit gamers. Hackers are pathetic virgin punks with no life that ruin many online games for real gamers. Hackers are pathetic dbag spoiled rich kids and loser 20s somethings that have never had a girlfriend.
I'm using hacks in crysis 3 and I'm none of the above :)
Perma ban. The only way to fight this retards.
Well that sucks. I'll still buy it just for the single player after it hits the bargain bin.
who cares the mp sucked except hunter mode(really fun)
Don't buy the map packs because the community will die down after 30 days...
This is what happened to Crysis 2. lol.
and medal of honor...well that lasted about a day but still
yeah... I'll pass on this game.
This heasline makes no sense: Crysis it not plagued with hackers because the game isn't out yet. The beta is plagued with hackers, but isn't this one of the purposes of launching a beta in the first place? Finding the exploits, hacks and glitches which people try to abuse - and mitigate them in time for the actual game release?
I'm buying for the SP and for the Ultra graphics that we have yet to see. Mulitplayer in shooters sucks anyways. It's instant gratification for people who can't hack it at real sports or competition.
Pretty arrogant thing to say. Im 40 and play softball once a week. How many "real sports and competitions" do you think are really available in this age bracket while working a real 40 hour a week job and raising a family?
Main reason why pc online competitive gaming will never be as good as on consoles.
PC is the home of Esports with the two biggest competitive games Starcraft 2 and League of Legends. Dedicated Servers. Admins being able to ban hackers.
