Face to 'face' with new horrors in 'The Last of Us | Globe & Mail

When The Last of Us was revealed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo last summer, we saw how the game’s human enemies, survivors just like us, were ruthless. Like wild animals trying to eke out an existence they were as likely to kill you for your shoes as talk about the weather. Yeah, but dont you remeber in the trailers, both the announcment and story trailers, joel is touching one, he is grabbing their necks to fight them off? So i dont know if this is strictly true yet.

were those runners or clickers though? I don't know the difference.

EDIT: ok, so the article talks about 3 "stages" runners->???->clickers. I guess the ones joel is touching are stage 2?

okay so i looked it up, its not you touching them literally, its them getting hold of you, if you touch them physically you wont die but what its saying is, the run up to you and try to bite you, if they get too close they bite you and you die, if you stealth kill them you are touching them but they aren't biting you.

I'd like to play this game, especially because its naughty dog, but the whole concept creeps me out... :s
