10 Best Gaming Soundtracks Of 2012

WC: 2012 was a typically big year for games, but some of gaming’s highest accomplishments of the year were not seen, nor particularly celebrated. I refer, of course, to the best soundtracks of the year – those audio accompaniments that heighten the game experience almost as much as visuals and story details.

The soundtracks of games are something to be cherished every year, and 2012 is no exception.

So, this article is about the times the music we heard in games took our breath away last year. Whether they haunt us, inspire us, confuse us, or simply break our hearts, these pieces are all outstanding and affecting. (Darksiders 2, Far Cry 3, Journey, Mass Effect 2, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
