Upcoming PS3 Exclusives Won’t Go Ignored

GR's DeShaun Zollicoffer

“Will a PS4 reveal overshadow upcoming PS3 exclusives?” I’ve seen this question at least a dozen times over the past three days. The answer is – no — the PS4 announcement won’t hurt God of War: Ascension, The Last of Us, and Beyond: Two Souls. Here are a few reasons why these games won’t go ignored. (Beyond: Two Souls, God of War: Ascension, PS3, The Last Of Us)

Really, I think it’ll be fine. 90% of gamers are up for great entertainment.

Gotta have something to play before the new consoles release.

If the new console isnt BC, it might hurt potential sales of future PS3 titles & systems a small bit but nothing major.. PS2 was still selling strong while PS3 was out so itl be no different this time.. Ill still buy PS3 games if theyre good & exclusive but everything else is going on the new beast

I'll be buying good games regardless of the system. And I won't be buying a Ps4 or Xbox 720 until they have a substantial amount of good games.

I'm exactly the same. Whilst I'm excited for the PS4, I'm still excited about the PS3. I played my PS2 for over three years before I bought my Ps3 and I'll do a similar thing again ... UNLESS, the PS4 offers me full BC with disc based games and PSN with PS+, and my subscription can be transferred over.
