How Zelda Wind Waker Could Be Improved On Wii U

Colette Barr: ''Wind Waker is a beautiful looking game bursting with bright colours with its bright blue sea, and luscious greenery that transport you to a world far away from its darker predecessors Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

From what we were shown during Nintendo Direct, it does look gorgeous and just when I I though this game could look any more magical, I saw Outlook Island in HD. Just imagine how amazing the scene with the Master Sword will look.

Having said that, it's exciting to hear that Nintendo aren't just giving Wind Waker's graphics a facelift. It's great that you'll be able to play off the TV on the Wii U GamePad and Satoru Iwata also mentioned that Nintendow ould be tuning up the game experience. What does that mean?

I don't know but I've got someideas for how Wind Waker could be improved on Wii U.'' (The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Wii U)

Please do something with the sailing nintendo, even with the wind waker warp song it is tedious to me.

Yeah-

-having to come to a complete stop and start that Baton Rhythm Game every time you wanted to change wind direction got way old.

Maybe while sailing you could just swipe the screen to change the wind direction instead of stopping the action to compose music.
I am sure they would do pretty cool things with the tablet!

LOL,

I started laughing when the writer admitted that she would start sailing in a direction and then go do something else-

I thought I was the only one who did that.

Yeah, good ideas, all. And I have heard many people wanting the same things.

I hope that Nintendo even adds content and story.
And they can even put in the Lost Dungeons that he did not have time to finish.

It's been said before, a Master Quest mode would be a pretty cool addition.

I agree, Ocarina of times Master Quest was great IMO.

Legend of Zelda Windbreaker?

Just putting it out there ;)

I can imagine the instrument already.

Maybe Nintendo can implement a microphone feature that you can attach to your pants. Could be a problem getting in tune though.

Don't mess with the cel-shading. The simplified color ranges work fine. The new and "improved" look used on the characters looks more like a disney CG kid show. The rest looks pretty cool. I would not mind revisiting WW, but please keep the cartoonyness!

Just get a copy of the old one to go with the new one, that way you can have both

I've got the old one. Will likely get the new one. Just don't care much for the lack of tone shading. I'm sure it will look good in the end. WW is my favorite in the series.

Gorgeous gorgeous game and the sense of being actually part of it's universe is unmatched pretty much. Far from perfect though in a number of ways unfortunately. Way too easy enemy designed with 5year olds in mind it seems, and light on dungeons. Fantastic experience while it lasts but difficulty lessens this satisfaction while the lack of many dungeons is plainly irritating for a lot of people

Put the dungeons that were cut since they thought the game was too long back in. Nuff Said.

Only known dungeon cut I know of, is when the giant fish just freely gave me an orb without a boss battle or anything somewhere near offset island. is there more?
