Let Me Sell The PS Vita To You

"In this article, I’m going to do my utmost to sell the PS Vita to you. Not my own PS Vita, just the idea of owning one in general.

It may seem like a bit of a daft idea, but from what I can tell, no other websites have done what I’m about to do, that comes straight my research which consisted of 10 minutes of Googling, 2 Facebook statuses, a tweet and a mention of the PS Vita to my barber. So if you happen to be one of the people who have tried to sell the PS Vita to readers in this manner, accept my apologies and prepare to see how it’s done properly.

From the moment on I’m writing in the sense that I would if I was talking to my mates, how I would tell my mates about the Playstation Vita. So, going forward, you’re all my mates and I invite you to read along and comment when you finish. Let us begin…" - TGC (PS Vita, Sony)

Because it's freaking awesome? That's why you should buy one...

"Despite the abuse I’ve inflicted upon the poor bugger, the screen remains as clear and scratch free as the day I first got it."

At least now I know I don't have to blow 20 bucks on a screen protector :)

My screen is scratch free and I play DJ Max with my nails uncut sometimes.

$20??? Where the hell do you live, Australia? They're only $5-$10 everywhere I go, and well worth it.

Trust me, the screen on the PS Vita is more than just pretty colours, it's bloody invincible!

I bought another vita because my screen got a little scratch/crack without ever being dropped. It's not invincible. I would recommend a screen protector.

I want to know what you did to have it scratch/crack. My Vita has dropped off my bed and fell on concrete and its still fine. My right trigger and right analog stick has been put through some work and they stick a little.

I honestly don't know. I do have quite a playful cat so I thought that could be it.

It is a 3mm vertical scratch which can only be viewed on a clear white screen or when you set out to look for it. I try'd telling myself it did not bother me but eventually caved.

I bought a new one for £135 from Amazon.de with lbp and gave the other one to my sister for xmas.

They now both have screen protectors fitted and are kept in a soft pouch when not in use.

The only problem I have now is AVLS auto resets itself when the vita is turned off and on. This has something to do with German law and there is nothing I can do about it. It's because I imported it to the UK :(

The only people who hate the vita are morons who either haven't even tried it or people who have an unjustified and bizarre hate for all things Sony; reading some of the haters comments, you would think that the company killed their mother or something.
