I think Fallout 4 will be a cross gen title which will be released on both current and next gen consoles. I don't think they will ditch the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Wasn't the Skyrim engine made with next gen in mind though? Anyway, if they stick to the release schedule from Fallout 3 to Skyrim, then we should see this new game by late 2014. To me, that says it probably won't be made for current tech. I have no idea how big the Bethesda team is these days, but developing their first game for new systems seems like it might eat up most - if not all - of their resources. Whatever the case, I really hope it's Fallout 4. I absolutely love roaming around in that world!
Probably Fallout 4, but they could be working on the next Elder Scrolls too. Those games take so long to develop. Can't wait to see what they look like.

I have a feeling a lot of studios are making an unannounced next generation game. These studios probably sign agreements not to mention the new consoles. I believe Watchdogs was a next gen game shown at last E3, and they weren't allowed to say exactly which consoles that game was for.
30-40 hours I got bored skyrim 200 in fo3 and 180 in vegas wonder tho if their next gen game well even come close to the way I play their games heavy modded and looking better then almost anything around
i dont think you have played fallout they wasn't that bad. once the patches came out it was ok. games of this size i think it would be hard to find every little thing wrong and fix it before games release
Same here, but didn't it get cancelled? The CGI trailer really piqued my imagination. Shame it disappeared right when 1313 was starting to get recognition. ( :O Conspiracy! They were exactly the same type of game )

@smurf, if its fallout 4 i would literally grow wings and fly around my neighborhood.
They did make a new engine for Skyrim, would they really want to make a next gen game when they've only used the engine once.
I mean they could bring the creation engine to next gen consoles but I mean you'd rather make a brand new engine.

As I've said before, it looks waaaay too good to waste on current hardware.

But this is probably for Fallout 4. They said they bought the license for multiple games, so... sounds like it's Fallout's time.
