Metal Gear Rising for Wii U is up to Konami, depends on demand

A Wii U release for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is still a possibility, if Konami sees the demand for it. This was said by Platinum Games staff member JP Kellams when he was asked on his Twitter what the chances are for a release of the game on Nintendo’s newest console. (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Wii U)

Konami:
''Loao.''

I hope there's a Wii U port. This is something Nintendo really needs to adress for their next-gen console (Wii U).

I wonder how many copies they would have to sell in order to make a port worth it.

Don't know
Though I'd like it on the Wii U regardless.

I would much rather the real next Metal Gear (MGS:Zero Grounds) game in development over this hack and slash spinoff.

I'd rather see MGS:Zero Grounds.

I want some MGS5 prequel goodness.

Not sure on which platforms GZ will end up releasing. It may come to the next gen, and I guess Wii U is a possibility as well.

I'd rather have ground zero's on it as well. supposedly a metal gear game is coming to wii u?, it was revealed when that guy hacked the miiverse and saw the list of games that had a yoshi game on it as-well.

I could see it working on the Wii U, I probably wouldn't buy it on that console because I like Achievements, but it would be nice to those that only own a Wii U.

When will they learn that this approach is pointless. Lets wait till everyone has forgot about the game and release a wii U version a year late, and then we'll complain that it doesn't sell.

Yes just like stuntman said 4 of tthe games on that list are coming out this year and 4 more games are coming out later and then there's. Metal gear solid and soul hackers and other games possibly coming to the wii u and so its definitely a possibility

This was a very stupid choice, the touch screen (for the first concept of rising) would have been fantastic.

I played the demo and I wasn't that impressed. I just don't think it flows properly.
If it doesn't come to WiiU it wont be a great loss. There are other things coming down the pike. HOWEVER, I can see where regardless of "lost" the Wii U could stand to have it. If only to shut the detractors that the system cant handle anything but Mario Kart.

Blade Mode on Wii U would work really well. AR mode and inventory management.

it should def come to the wiiu, the more games the better to shut off haters and get wiiu moving

I hope they do considering the rock solid relationship that Platinum's having with Nintendo right now.

MG Rising would be right at home on the Wii U.

I just hope that Konami see's sense and let's it happen.
