X360A News: Resident Evil Producer: It'd Be "Very Difficult" to Go Back to Series' Roots

X360A: Speaking to Resident Evil: Revelations Producer, Masachika Kawata at Capcom's UK HQ yesterday, we asked whether one day we might see a reboot for what has increasingly become a third-person action survival horror series in recent years. Could Resident Evil ever return to its roots as a more considered, puzzle-laden affair a la Resident Evil's 1 to 3? (PS3, Resident Evil Revelations, Xbox 360)

haha. What's so difficult about giving the fans what they want, and going back to what made the series good in the first place?

...Then again, it IS capcom.
