GamesRadar - Not much has been revealed about the story of the fourth entry in the God of War series from Sony's Santa Monica Studio. That is, until now. We played through the first 30 minutes of the game, and suffice to say, it feels like a God of War title. Ascension isn't just a cut, and paste job though. The developers have made several significant changes to the combat system, adding elements like secondary weapons, a revised Rage system, and the ability to tether enemies with your leash-like chains. But outside the gameplay innovations, the single player mode strives to elaborate on Kratos' past.
