I don't quite understand the how commercial airflights put a sobering reality on the dream of human flight.
You have no input over such flights and they all have pre-defined destinations. You let the pilot do his job and sit in a chair for a few hours. And business/scheduling problems often cause irritating delays. That's what you sign up for.
It's not comparable to one-man plane where the person can control the vehicle and roam the sky however they please.
