OXCGN:
"After playing through the first three hours of the title, the game still retains the same basic functions that made Dead Space such a great new IP when it was released in 2008.
My point is simple.
If you don’t like it, speak with your wallet and don’t purchase the game. Crazy, I know."
If EA and Motive Studio plan on remaking all the main Dead Space entries, they have to change a lot of what made Dead Space 3 so divisive.
Simple, do not bother with a Dead Space 3 remake. Rather have a new entry for Dead Space.
Remaking 3 would need to be a reworked and somewhat changed remake as 3 was flawed in most peoples eyes and the worst entry.
WTMG's Kyle Nicol:
"Was Dead Space 3 really that bad?
Well, it’s a complicated question. Dead Space 3 is undeniably the weakest of the trilogy. It’s a game that deviates so far from the original formula, that it throws a lot of what made Dead Space special in the first place out of the window. Although, where it does make up for it is one of the best cooperative shooters on the market, even after all this time. Do I recommend playing this game ten years later? Hell yes. But make sure your expectations are in the right place. It has a lot of problems that bring it down."
With the upcoming Dead Space Remake, we replay and rank the original three games.

...Lost Planet 3?
They need to seriously continue this ip with a new entry. Even if it's just another movie I don't care I love everything about this game.
I'll be hated for this, but Dead Space was always very scary to me and I couldn't beat it. I enjoyed 2 more because it was more action-oriented and less repetitive, and the coop aspect of 3 makes it a must-buy for me.

Preach!!! Say it with your chest!!!
if you still want dead space 3 but don't want to support EA buy it used
I don't like EA or Origin but Dead Space is the only thing they have got going for them in my book. So they better not screw it up.
I was never going to buy DS3 anyway. Even then after playing the first one it was refreshing to have such a scary Survival Horror title, and it was sad to hear DS3 "sell out" to the casual/action crowd
At least in my case my keyboard has more strength than my wallet. Though combining the two often proves to be the strongest
