Push Square: "It’s not been the best first year for the PlayStation Vita. Shunned in its home territory and disregarded overseas, the powerful portable has struggled to secure a foothold in the brutal video game market. But there have been signs this week that the system is not dead and buried yet, and while there’s still a long road ahead for the machine, at least it’s starting to form the foundations of an impressive library."
Soul Sacrifice
Phantasy Star Online 2
Muramasa: Rebirth
and Killzone Mercenary
All high caliber games!
Killer Week for PS Vita indeed!
I believe so!
All Sony has to do is push these games, and just bring out more, which I can't see not happening. Soul Sacrifice later this year, Phantasy Star Online 2 in the near future. The awesome looking Dokuro and Guacamelee front the downloadables. PS Vita in my pocket, just like 3DS. Good times!
They are games, they aren't applications.
Edit to your comment - Wrong doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. You clearly don't know the difference between a application and a video game. No shit a game has applications running within it and code that all ties into that but it still does not do what an application does nor would classify as one when it's a finish video game not a finished application.

An application is software that applies itself to hardware in order to run. Video games narrow down to executables at the end of the day. Some might be housed on a physical disc, but they all run as code on machines designed to run it. They are applications. Just because you dislike the modern implication of an app, doesn't mean that it negates what a video game is.
This is all beside the point anyway, this is about PS Vita, not what games are or aren't.
