Games Should Make You Feel Like a Kid Again

"With all of the talk about violent videogames and if they possibly are harmful to children or cause certain people to be aggressive, I think that now is as good of a time as ever to maybe slow things down a bit and take a look at the other side of gaming." | Explosion.com (3DS, Double Fine, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Nintendo DS, PC, PS3, Sony, Studio Ghibli, The Cave, Wii U, Xbox 360)

ni no kuni and dark souls does just that.

Strangely enough, Demon's Souls did make me feel like a kid again, despite the M rating. I hadn't enjoyed a game so much for years.

LOL. Ni No Kuni will definitely make me feel youthful again but Dark Souls turned me into a raging monster.

Pokemon games make me feel this way. I also think music plays an important part in making you feel like a kid as well (which is what most if not all pokemon games do for me).
It makes it a calm and relaxing experienced compared to the fast paced action games I like to play.

I totally agree. Music brings me right back in time for some reason. Even if its not a classic game... any game with chiptunes makes me feel like an 8 year old again :D

But then the military gamers will bully us around?!?! and I don't have a familiar to defend me??!

Xenoblade chronicles for me. And most under rated handheld game of 2012, Kid Icarus Uprising.
