Don’t Tell Ubisoft Their Games Suck

Not unless you want them to actually fire back.

This refreshingly honest exchange - which was still on the site at time of writing - took place overnight on Ubisoft's Australian Facebook page. Call it unprofessional if you want, but hey, it's nice to see someone slinging remote digital mud get a little back from a publisher for once. The urge to do so must get unbearable at times.

UBI deserve all the negative comments they receive, besides EA they have the worst customer service around.

UBI's customer service is basically 'So you have a problem? Well F*** You as we aren't going to help you or do anything about it'

I agree with you about their customer service. I had a query with Far Cry 3. I couldn't login to my account (bug in their system) so I made a new account and a new email to tell them my problem (map editor kept freezing). There generic response was, a long the lines of, we will look into it, please email back if it is fixed and please comment on the quality of this solution. They hadn't given me a solution. So I tried to comment back and guess what? You have to login in which I couldn't because their login system is broken. They then sent me an email saying since we haven't heard from you we are assuming it is fixed. Of course I couldn't their system is broken. So frustrating

On topic. Ubisoft Facebook shouldn't have made that comment. They should have let other users make the comment for them

I don't see a problem with what the guy wrote, he merely stated his opinion that he didn't like the game and would prefer one that he liked on sale. Whats wrong with that? I found the game to be crap too, regardless of what UBI try to tell me.

then again customer service is not the "games" themselves , so a tad irrelevant , even if you do seems to have valid issues there

But the way I see it is they are all related. UBI puts out a broken game, I ask for support, customer support give a half assed pre written reply and never help with the issue, UBI never fixes problem. This process has happened many times, so I've stopped buying UBI games.

Honestly, when you rarely use either of them, they look the same. Sue me. I'll be sure to use the term "social media" instead next time to avoid butt-hurted rebuttals. My point still stands. This is not newsworthy and Kotaku a hit whoring game website.

I think people deserve some accountability. Dude thought he could hide behind his computer and make snide remarks. I'll bet he'll think twice next time.

Ahhhh whats happening to gamers these days always crying cammon people..

Dead Space Micro Transaction sucks... DMC sucks... UBI soft sucks... EA sucks... Ninja Theory sucks... Capcom sucks... New tomb raider is not like the old ones, so it suckss... Dead Space 3 is co-op it sucks.. hahahahhaha

Grow up people.. damn i remember those days when the comment sections were actually worth discussing.
