This is nothing new. They said this before the Wii U was ever released.
He said they will go out and seek exclusives but if a developer approaches them, they will see about making a deal or partnership.

Really Nintendo??? Because many of us signed the Operation Death Lives petition online for the big N to partner with VIGIL Games so that Darksiders 3 would be Nintendo exclusive and to keep that talented team together, why didnt you do that? They were auctioned dirt cheap too...
