Path of Exile Review: An Evolution, Not A Spiritual Successor | Leviathyn

Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 dominated 2012 but now a new player has entered the arena. Path of Exile shows that being a hack and slash game that throws away tradition can be done correctly. (Path of Exile, PC) 9/10

The game is good but is a pretty obvious diablo 2 clone with an overcomplicated skill system.

So? a win win situation!
Diablo 2 is a masterpiece and I don't know what Blizzard was smoking when they designed Diablo 3.
Path of Exile it's an amazing game created with the foundation of Diablo 2 and with the additions we wanted to see on Diablo 3.
The skill tree is a tremendous and allow you to have a unique character.
Between PoE and Torchlight 2, there is no room for D3 anymore.
