"With the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the horizon, Nintendo of Europe released a video of the intro for the game."
(3DS, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Wii U)
When these games start looking like that new "X" game announced for the wiiU at Nintendos direct conference the other day, then i will get me some Monster Hunter . .
I own the game and it is cool, but as Pigmelion said, no way you can compare "X" and monster hunter graphics. Even the art style is a little bit different.
X is cool and all, but it will never have a complex AI for the monsters like in monster hunter, that's the charm of MH, the monsters feel alive, not another mob, the have different sizes and react differently depending if it's hungry or hurt.
not everything is graphics dude, the most important things goes "under the hood"
reLax relax . . i'm just saying that when it looks like the gameplay looks like the trailer here, i will finally get a monster hunter game . i'm already tempted to get part 4 because it gots lock-on, but these types of games require a lot of time to partake, too much for someone who is making a game of his own . . and when it finally looks like that X game, i will finally succumb .
Missing out on an amazing game because of the graphics? Sure, it may not be as good as X, but it still looks great. Plus, if you've only played the game on your own, you're not experiencing the full game. I didn't like Tri very much until I started going online with my best friend and my boyfriend.
Seriously, skipping a game based solely on its graphics is just baffling. Your loss, I guess.
I believe the graphics are like that because you are able to play the Wii U version co-op with a 3DS version, it's just the HD remastered version of the 3DS with better rendering and stuff, then it makes easier the simultanious display of the game in Wii U/3DS multiplayer(I'm not saying this is good, I don't know how that works). I hope it runs at 60fps on Wii U. And I hope they don't make Super Smash Bros. 4 for Wii U with the 3DS version's graphics.
