Oh well, I wasn't chomping at the bit for this anyway. Having played it at a recent event, it seemed cool, but all over the map in terms of what it was trying to do.

Really? How so? There hasn't been much revealed about it yet, so I'm curious to compare your thoughts against some of the gameplay videos probably coming next week.

It's got cartoony-levels of coins to collect while you're in the middle of matches. The cover system isn't sticky enough, the guns are weak or overpowered, the enemies generally thrash every player. Just seems so uninspired.

Now just replace postpone with cancel and that works for me.

They had no choice but to polish it. The last trailer was looked down upon from both PS3 and Xbox 360 owners.

I'm glad they didn't release it as is. It's a miracle that EA let Insomniac have the extra time.

Not really a miracle given the high number of big releases for February and March. New IP's often get overlooked when big hitters(TR, MGR:R, GOW, BioShock) are coming out in the same time frame.

I guess they'll fully pull back the curtain on Fuse next week and give us a lot of gameplay videos?

2 months left to take off the generic cover.

More polish is never a bad thing.

Tell that to The Last Guardian

They're polishing it so much, that when it releases, it will blind us all with it's shine.

What about Versus 13? I bet it's so polished by now it's invisible. Oh, wait...

You can't polish a turd or in this case a game which is probably not going to do very well

EA always has to ruin developers visions for games

Maybe it's because Insomniac outsourced to the mysterious, non-existent Tin Giant for this game too... ;) See the 'Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault for Vita' Mystery for more info on that.

Should change the characters and make them more cartoony.
Less gritty army man more Ratchet and Clank like.

Them it would be nothing new or worth getting if it followed the same formula, the thing is to try something new .
baldulf  +   1031d ago
Making it "gearofwarish" it's not doing something new.

More polish doesn't do shit.
LOL_WUT  +   1030d ago
Yea I wouldn't be surprised if this game flops.
DarthJay  +   1031d ago
Maybe they should polish the idiotic cover that cut off half of the character's heads. It looks retarded.
DaThreats  +   1031d ago
The game truthfully doesn't look appealing.
ame22  +   1030d ago
In other words, Q1 got too crowded it scared them off.

They never delayed their games this much before that's for sure. Maybe they need someone like Sony. Guess we will know once we play it.
DigitalAnalog  +   1030d ago
I remember the time Insomniac had a about 9 months "time" to polish the graphics in R3. They didn't. Fortunately the gameplay was fantastic nonetheless but ultra low sub-hd and utilizing 60fps to compensate (like COD) kinda left a poorer impression than it's supposed too.

Who cares Insomniac hasn't released anything worth a flip since the first Ratchet and Clank on PS3 and the first Resistance game. Take a hint Insomniac if you don't care enough about your games to make them worth playing we aren't going to play them, duh.
