Fire Emblem: Awakening Review | RPGamer

RPGamer: "Just because this is more accessible than most for newbies does not make it any less of a tactical game, hardly the best-selling genre in the gaming world. Awakening is nevertheless a genuine treat for anyone seeking a deeply rewarding tactical title on the 3DS, and a fine return of the series to the English-speaking world after the last game missed out." (3DS, Fire Emblem: Awakening) 4.5/5

Huh, I always thought Fire Emblem was -the- most accessible SRPG franchise out there. Even moreso than Disgaea.

A simple UI and, more importantly, lightning-fast, responsive mechanics are a BIG part of that. Almost the WHOLE part of that.
