Crysis 3 beta is pretty fun. The hunter mode is actually is really fun and induces a quickened heart rate.

i really hope im wrong but with the whole co-op & action oriented pace of Dead Space 3 i really see this series taking a nose dive after this one. I really hope im wrong cause i loved DS & DS2

Same happened with RE

After RE4 (DS2) pre orders and sales were high with RE5 (DS3) but then with RE6 people learnt from their mistakes (DS4 if it happens)

completely agree with you on that, i played the demo to DS3 and it really does seem a big step into the wrong direction :/.

However i do like the new enemies and the new environment, it reminds me of John Carpenter's The Thing which the dead space series drew an inspiration from when creating the necromorphs

Well EA ought to do well. Last year all I played was BF3, ME3, Fight Night(even though its not from alst year), Fifa 13 (dam everyone I know plays the shit outta this), SWTOR

Only non EA games besides some one-off plays were Diablo 3 and GW2.

If EA are able to steal my time then they're doing something right for sure.

And this shows that no matter how much complaining and whining the fans do about games that get the 'mass appeal treatment, it doesn't do any good. The developers know that it works and is going to bring in more money, or they wouldn't do it.

thats because 99% of the console user base is uninformed and 5% of PC gamers are. that's what happens when gaming goes mainstream.
