Organic storytelling: Narrative through play

David Chandler takes at look at how exposition in video games through the use of text and cutscenes can sell the medium a bit short. He argues that a game's narrative is "most effective when it communicates meaning through the mechanics of play in conjunction with the audiovisual strengths of the medium."
