Sega are gonna Sega. -__-

Everybody and their mothers knew that Dead Souls was a bad game (gameplay wise, story was good) and that it was going to flop so why punish the fans like this?

yewles11969d ago

That's like saying Deadly Premonition was bad...

morganfell1969d ago

It will likely come. If you look at the results thus far Y5 sold more in the first month than the previous titles sold in 6 months.

derkasan1969d ago

I really hope that the whole Yakuza series gets brought over. I'd love to play Kenzan! without importing...

It is starting to look like we have a good chance of at least getting Yakuza 5 in the west.

TongkatAli1969d ago

Keep supporting Sega and they will deliver. I'm thinking of importing Project Diva to support them.

Abriael1969d ago

Will they? Aaron is a good guy, but those are almost exactly the same words he said about Valkyria Chronicles 3. We all saw how it went.

Why the f*ck did they not localise Y5 when they were actually working on it. Why go through the painful process of assigning a team to localise a game months after release when it could have been done on the fly.

As much as I love you Sega, you make some seriously stupid decisions.

If Sega isn't able to figure out how to bring their games to the West and be profitable then I am not going to beg them to bring a game over here so I can give them money for it. Their are a myriad of ways to release Yakuza 5 in the West and be profitable. Atlus brings niche games over and makes a significant profit every time. Ni No Kuni is selling well also over here.

If Sega can't figure it out, then I am fine with passing on their games. I got a copy of both Yakuza 3 and 4 when it came to the West and I got a copy of Dead Souls. I am not interested in begging any company to take my money, either Sega figures it out or I will play other games.
