Talking Point: Nintendo's Lower Expectations Are No Surprise

Today Nintendo issued its third quarter financial results, showing where the company stands in terms of profits and sales. Net income is projected to be a profit for the company, yet operating income is expected to come to a loss. Nintendo Life looks at some of the details and the lowered projections for hardware and software sales, and considers whether lower expectations are actually a surprise. (3DS, Industry, Nintendo, Nintendo DS, Wii, Wii U)

They have been already. Over 120 years. How many gaming companies can say that?

I agree that Big N will be around for long, my doubts are with the console and not handheld. Big N handheld market has always been second to no one, but consoles its a diferent story. WII-U should be discontinue now and re=think on making a future hardware compatible to PS4 AND 720, cause the way I see it now its a last gen console. The only thing more powerfull its the graphics which is hinder by the lack of memory, not to mention inferior procesor than the current ps3 and 360. Agree or not, its too late to re-invent the wheel, stocks are going down and share holders are catching in, WII-U its a failure.

Wrongo! There's insane games coming. There's games we don't even know about coming. Don't worry about Nintendo's home video game console's friend. Worry about whether it's Sony or Microsoft that's going to fail. See you at E3 Lol!
