NowGamer: "EA could be looking to create its own Gaikai or OnLive service, is recent trademarks are anything to go off."
I don't see why not. I mean the PC platform works well in this area. Lets just hope they don't make consoles go through this system for online streaming and not allow Gaikai to sell their stuff. For some reason I can see EA doing that
I foresee a cloud system where you have to use micro-transactions to retrieve your save files. Or you can play until a certain point in a particular game before paying more to continue. It'll be marketed as "like the arcade version." All kidding aside, it does seem like a move by EA to streamline its content to a central hub. If it's profitable, they'll find a way to make it happen (for better or worse).
One day sony and MS will only be cloud stores.. Activision/EA could be in competition with sony and MS by then.
If EA would develop a game specifically for cloud gaming it could have a ton of potential. Would be way too risky for them though.
