Dark Souls II: Revealing a new world through concept art

EDGE: "There are a number of glossy printouts of Dark Souls II concept art lying on the table between us and Shibuya – the same images you’ll find illustrating this feature. With the formal interview concluded and our final minutes ticking away, we make one last push for information. Would Shibuya kindly give us a guided tour of the concept art before us so that we know what we’re looking at?" (Dark Souls 2, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

I love the Souls series' artwork. There's some truly impressive stuff. I could look at it for hours

Agreed. I can't wait to see the game in action and am really hoping that they're making DS2 for the next generation as well.

The Dark Souls Collectors edition was great because of the art book you got, there was some amazing art there. It really got you in the mood before you played the game.

I love looking at concept art for many games really, it's great to see what they have thought of and what has actually made it into the game.

I love the Soul series period! I dont even mind the grinding in this game because the benefits and rewards are awesome. Every time i find a new armor i get this feeling of accomplishment and every time i learn a new magic i feel like im Merlin lol

By the way off topic "Merlin" the show is awesome too bad it h as ended.

Dark Souls was in my opinion one of the best experiences of this generation. No other game gave me so much frustration, excitement and obsession as Dark Souls. As for number 2...I don't know if they can top that experience but the concept art is looking really good so far. I like the idea of the mad scientist and the black rider...this could be really cool if the don't over do everything.

And they say games aren't artistic. I love gaming because it literally melds every aspect of media together: music, artwork, directing, storytelling, and then adds interactivity.

If one thing, Demon's Souls had a wonderful atmosphere and mostly smooth frame-rate. I really hope they bring back the smooth frame rate - this is very important. Can't wait to see in-game footage!
