Is the Xenoblade Chronicles sequel exactly what the WiiU needs?

Looking at the current state of WiiU and where Monolith Soft's upcoming game will fit in. Will it be a system seller, a niche title beloved by fans or a flop? (EA, Monolith Soft, Monolith Software, Next-Gen, Wii, Wii U, Xenoblade Chronicles)

first im not sure when monolith said it was a sequel, second wiiu need big hitters on the system that other systems do not have so makes perfect sense
