It seems that Sony and Tin Giant have decided to pull the plug on the PS Vita version of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault. The news comes from a Facebook status posted by Insomniac Games stating the following
Just because Sony and tin giant isn't sharing info with insomniac doesnt mean they pulled the plug,
Exactly, and the PS3 version was advertised to come with the Vita version at a later date, so Sony wouldn't just cancel the project (wouldn't be a smart idea, as it would be false advertisement, because a lot of people bought the PS3 version expecting a Vita version as well). It's just a matter of when Sony officially states what is going on with the Vita version that we will know what's up.
I think the "tower defense with a twist" concept of the game is what makes this a great title to have on the Vita! I play full fledge games on my PS3 and still just only finish the 1st mission of this game because I am waiting for the promised Vita version for me to play on the go! I am a die hard fan of the R&C series and bought the PS3 version of the game off PSN the 1st week it was made available! I just hope that they are just still ironing out the bugs from porting it to the Vita and expect them to release it soon! my Vita is ready, Sony!
I agree, the title is completely misleading. Why would you turn no info into info? I bet that this was done to increase hits, I don't see any other reason. The title should be "Ratchet:FFA Vita still waiting release, no updates from Tin/Sony" Not "Hey no updates so let's say they pulled the plug to stir up the pot?" Even if it's in the form of a question, it's just a false article seeing as there is no evidence that even hints at that. Thanks!
I'm still waiting for this franchise to die off. I've tried it, and I tried to like it. I don't get what's so good about it. Insomniac games have great talent. Shouldn't be wasted on this franchise.
WTF making up news now... well making up rumours is common but making up news... wtf :S Just because they wont update us doesn't mean they've cancelled it- ps3 version advertised vita copy free so they'd have to say something/compensate users i'd imagine due to the advertising... :s
