Amazon’s The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct Pre-Order Bonus is the Walker Execution Pack

In case you want to pre-order The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, still without seeing any actual gameplay footage, Amazon.com’s exclusive pre-order bonus has been revealed as the Walker Execution Pack. With this, you’ll receive weapons for your arsenal that include a survival knife, kukri, combat axe, machete, and advanced machete, perfect for killing zombies without raising too much suspicion.

How is offering preorder incentives before anyone has even seen screenshots or videos depicting finalised gameplay portray a solid marketing technique? Sounds like Activision is getting ballsy in assuming people would blindly purchase their products just because they discovered a formula to continually produce the same video game yearly and turn a percentage of gamers into sheep.

I can't get excited over this game anymore after seeing that horrid trailer and I'm not buying it simply because I kinda like the show.

You know, the best pre-order incentive a game could have is SHOWING US SOME HALF DECENT GAME-PLAY!!

Big fan of the show, and the Telltale game. Not much of a fan of Activision and here is just another behemoth example why. I looked up 'fail' in the dictionary the other day, and this game wasn't mentioned as an example. Needless to say I took the dictionary back to the shops. Will be phoning Oxford to notify them oftneir mistake.
