Wiiloveit.com: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed - Wii U Review

"Next to the dropping of the SEGA brand in the title, what I'll most remember about Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed's development is how peeved Sumo Digital was when Nintendo unveiled Mario Kart 7. Claiming they had a similar idea under wraps for a longer period of time, I can only imagine how they must have felt on a personal level when their chances of a spot among the stars were seemingly robbed. To them, there might have been worrying indications to suggest Transformed would be misunderstood against the long-standing, culturally well-rooted Mario Kart franchise. In truth, though, Sumo Digital had little to fear." -- Wiiloveit.com (Sonic And All-Stars Racing Transformed, Wii U) 90/100
