OXCGN’s DmC: Devil May Cry Review: A suprisingly solid reboot

OXCGN:

"Mired in controversy since its Tokyo Game Show reveal more than two years ago, DmC — a from-the-ground-up reinvention of Capcom’s beloved Devil May Cry franchise with UK development house Ninja Theory at the helm — arrives on shelves with a hefty weight of expectation on its shoulders.

Gone is the dashing, mystical demon-hunter with a silvery mop-top and predilection for exploring castles; the new Dante in his place is a cocky, well-groomed gent with plenty of swagger.

But, unable to remember more than random snippets from childhood, he’s also suffering an identity crisis."

The story is too old to be commented.

I'm glad the doubters are wrong.

HAHAHAHAHA no.

9/10 for DmC? It's mediocre at best... I know it's personal opinion and all but come on...

Agree. The entire game is one big immature "F," You joke.

I gave my copy to my cousin, I wasn't going to finish this trash and am embarrassed I actually paid money for this garbage.

Now that Dante's old hairstyle is available as DLC, the reviews should be generally positive, right?

Wasn't that the big problem?

:rolls eyes:

Forgive me for asking the following question, but do the people who don't like DmC have to jump on every single positive review that hits N4G (and there have been many) just to hammer home the fact you don't like it? The same names appear in comment feeds over and over and over - YES, WE GET IT. YOU DON'T LIKE DmC - and that's fine, but please, have the maturity and grace to accept that others do.
