Preordered the PS3 Limited Edition today....they are selling out quick. Looks better every time I see it. Can't wait.

Waiting on the real Metal Gear game to release... This just looking like another generic hack and slash spinoff.

It's allowing u to play as raiden the way he was showcase in mgs4. And it's canon. Get out of the mentality that only kojipro titles can be good and play the demo. It's fun. It's fast. It looks good and it has the Mgs feel if u were a cyborg ninja. Don't let your mentality hold you from a great game.

Raiden kicked ass in mgs4 so why not be him.

After playing the Demo a bit I am starting to feel that this is probably what Ninja Gaiden 3 should have aspired to be. That being said, I also can't wait for the next real MGS...the "Zeroes" footage looked amazing. This Raiden spin-off will also be a fun and alternate side of the MGS universe. Really looking forward to both actually.

I have it pre-orderd as Well, my first Metal Gear Solid game was infact Sons of Liberty, its what I picked when I recieved my first PS2 system. So I do feel a slight nod to him, plus being new at the time I got the story from a diffrent new perspective. I understand why people knock Jack though there isnt really any need for it.

His character background and backstory like Snakes is really sad and dark. And while people knock this as not a real Metal Gear game, and the game play all I want to say is the creator of the series had his input after it went to plat games and likes it. If the series creator likes it then least have an open mind about it.

Also in regards to it not playing like MGS well.. isnt that the point? This is a fast paced Hack-n-Slash. And whats wrong if he wants diffrent "play styles" in Metal Gear games? Also, and i'll close with this for those HARDCORE MGS purist, if he gets out this play style in a side series maybe it wont end up bleeding into the Stealth Action series. Just food for thought.

But since MGS2SOL I've gone through every Metal Gear title and enjoy them all, love the story, and all the angles, and like every other fan im lookg fword to Ground Zeroes, and Phantom Pain (Yes I believe its 5 despite a roman numeral has never been used to indicate which number, and that the masked man in the trailer helping who I believe to be Big Boss is Grey Fox.) But those are my thoughts I guess for another message board.
